It is with heavy hearts we announce his passing on December 15, 2016 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Devoted husband and friend to Sandra. Cherished father to Michael, Nataline and Joshua. Amazing brother to Darlene and Barbara. He will be greatly missed by his amazing family, Cousin Billy, Uncle Jerry, Rollie, Marian, Christine, Megan, Steve, Sarah and Myles, just to name a few. He will be deeply missed by his trued friends Rob, John 1, John 2 and Gerry who were always there for him. He will also be missed by all his family and friends back home in Nova Scotia. He will be missed by all his neighbours who know him as the best dart player ever! Gerald, a 20 year employee of the Home Depot will be greatly missed by his co-workers for his extensive knowledge, laughter, always making work fun and his Werthers! Gerald will always be remembered for his contagious laugh, fun loving personality and his kind heart who was always willing to help anyone in need. A Celebration of Life will be held January 7, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 471 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa at 6pm and the band will start at 8pm.
