HELEN (LINDA) MOORE (April 9, 1937 – February 2, 2017) passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 2, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Helen will be dearly missed and forever loved and remembered for her quiet strength, amazing attitude and witty sense of humour. Loving mother of Dianne (Rick) Kolumbus, grandmother (Granny) of Jennifer (Tyler Godwin) Kolumbus, Ryan (Melissa) Kolumbus, Sara (Jeff) Perron and great grandmother (“Granny Gaga”) of Dale, Charlie and Luke Kolumbus. Helen leaves behind beloved sister Julie (Bill) Hannah, preceded in death by sister, Jenny and brothers, John, Ted and Mike. Those who knew Helen will remember her many talents as a seamstress, decorator and “fashionista”. She touched everyone with her “never give-up attitude” and ability to rise above adversity with dignity and grace. A woman whose actions spoke volumes, she will be forever loved and remembered. Friends and family may gather for a celebration of life on Tuesday February 7th from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Donations may be made in memory of Helen to the M.S. Society.
