Peter was one of my last links to that period of my life.

Condolence: I walk around in a daze most of these last few days,I can't conceive that I won't hear his voice,laugh,snarky comments or have a big bear hug from him again.
Pierre as I often called him was my friend as well as my cousin.I always said he was the closest I have to a brother as I am an only child.
I loved this man whole heartedly.I feel
I feel great sympathy and sadness for Stacy,Jake and Laura.Our family has one less wonderful person in it but he willalways be in our hearts and minds.

We met Peter and yourself in 1972 when we moved to Two Mountains in Quebec. Our children made the first contact and we have been close friends ever since -camping, travelling, biking and just enjoying life when we got together. Peter seemed part of our family – a witty humor, ready for adventure and always a good friend. We will always treasure the wonderful experiences we have had with Peter and will truly miss, but not forget, him.

We were so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He kept surprising us with his endurance so I guess we thought somehow he would beat this thing. Stacy, I remember when I met you and Peter when you moved to La Grange. I made you brownies because your van had Ontario plates and a wonderful friendship was born. You have been a dear friend, but Peter was always a good friend too, much more than just my friend's husband. We always enjoyed Peter's quick wit and sense of humo(u)r and will really miss him.
